Internet keeps dropping out

Hi, our internet keeps dropping out intermittently. In the evening our the internet buffers whilst we watched Netflix's and during calls on Teams the internet cuts off. We have a smart thermostat which keeps disconnecting so we have no heating. Keeps saying our connection is fine, however this morning it's has shown a WiFi exclamation mark and an error. Help required please.
