@Addisonava1 there arectwo different methods for connecting Sky hubs. The first is for the older partial fibre services that connect to the phone socket these use connecters called rj11 if you have a very old phone socket you may need a filter which plugs into the phone socket with two sockets on the othercside one for the rj11 lead to the hub and the other for a phone. Sku no longer supply these filters but they can be bought at most hardware stores.
The second type is for the newer full fbre system where there is a ONT unit with lights fitted on the wall. Here the cable connecting to the hub is an E thernet cable with rj45 connectors. If you are due to get Fibre installed soon the cable should fit the new ONT the engineer.will fit.
