Do I need to report the fault as an individual or is it simply from the time the first person reports and that covers everyone?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIndividually. Probably for the simples reasons
a) not all postcodes may be fixed on the same day
b) someone who's on holiday for a fortnight probably won't have been affected

Not sure how it all works, but the more who post issues the better. I've just received a text message saying ...
"You may be having issues with your Phone & Broadband services just now. We're sorry & working to fix this. For updates, check MySky app or servicestatus.sky.com"

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour duplicate thread has been removed. Another thread on the same issue isn't necessary. It won't be fixed as a priority. The target fix time has already been discussed on this thread.

Appears we are back online!
Advice... might be good PR if Sky just informed its customers what's going on, and how things are proceeding with resolving these issues. Reminds me of the good ol' days of British Rail where no information to its customers led to dis-engagement with people. No ongoing info creates bad customer service.

Admittedly with a bit of a delay, but I have received texts from Sky keeping me updated,

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou got a text which surprised me tbh. Sky Broadband is a cheaper end domestic service and many similar isps don't inform customers in these circumstances.

Well they should, these community 'finding' out platforms are a cheap way to tell customers what's happening with their services, relying on other customers for information, we are all not employees so don't know the real answers in real-time. I'm sure if they tried they can be more informative as soon as these issues arise. It'll also stop people worrying.

Looks like the internet has gone again in last 10mins with the same issue as before. Wonder how long it'll be gone for this time.

I am in BR5 our Internet went down on Saturday, it was reported same day and a message returned that open reach had appointed an engineer to INVESTIGATE? - 2 working days was mentioned. How can I find out what is going on, and a realisyic estimate of if and when it will be fixed. I am not in best health and rely on it to do my shopping.
