Re: Internet is down

This is getting ridiculous now. 3rd time in the past hour Sky Broadband has been down. Also, please sort out your Service Checker software, it states that everything is all good when it clearly isn't. Misleading as hell. Additionally, us customers are paying you lot, lots of money, you should be reimbursing customers when stuff like this happens

Re: Internet is down

It is just so ridiculously tedious that I struggle to even get angry anymore. Broadband has been going out repeatedly, mainly during the night because they dont think anyone will notice, but the so called broadband checker says 'everyrhing is fine'. Such a joke. I know the 'system' thinks noone of note will find out, or so few that noone will listen, but as a night worker and PhD scholar, I can attest to the blatant broadband blackouts accompanied by complete denial of any problems by multiple suppliers, not just Sky. Seems as though something is afoot, everyone. And we should proceed with caution now more than ever. Shutting down the Internet at night when everyone is asleep for multiple nights and denying there is an issue? Haha. Classic. And to be honest, I feel lime could have tried harder to cover their steps. Don't worry, I see you.

Based on the times you’ve all posted it’s worth pointing out that any broadband issues between midnight and 7am could be essential overnight maintenance taking place. It is carried out at those times to minimise disruption and there is no advance warning provided. See this pinned post at the top of the Broadband board from Sky which could be relevant any night this happens…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Important-Notice-Scheduled-Broadband-Maintenance/td-p/5151847...

If you have an ONT box displaying a red light, see this further advice…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/Can-t-connect-to-broadband-and-have-a-red-light-on-your-...

This link provides information about the coloured lights you may see on the various hubs

Hopefully it’s back up and running before 7am. If it’s not, try restarting your hub or post back in this thread and we can try to offer additional advice.
