Internet dropping intermittently

We have had a visit from an engineer today as this problem has been going on for over a month. He said that there had been some outages in the area, which have now been rectified. He tested the internet and didn't find any issues. Since his visit, the problem has been worse not better, with internet dropping constantly. The WiFi does not disconnect from any of my devices but they all lose internet access intermittently. No router lights change, and all of them stay green. This is becoming a huge issue - I cannot even watch TV as the internet drops out several times during a programme.

@Yorkie030 if the lights on your hub remain green the hub is still connected to Sky's server so the engineer is correct the broadband connection is working.

Intermittent loss of connection is strange a total loss of connection can be explained but not an intermittent issue. It could be an issue at the server a way to exclude that is to power down the hub for an hour which should force acchange of server node if the fault clears it can bec assumed it was a faulty node. If it remains contact Sky as a swap of the hub would beca sensible next step.if the fault remainsxafter that it is most likely a local issue in your home perhapsca rogue device which can hog the connection.
