Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jammako the way the service checker determines if a conection is live is from the IP lease which takes up to an hour to pick up a line drop. The system will update in time when the lease doesnt renew or Sky get told of an issue in your area. The lights on the hub tell you immeadiatly what is going on https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start . If the connection has dropped and a reboot of the hub doesnt sort it the next step is calling Sky when their lines open.

Surely it is a waste of everyone's time to not acknowledge there is a wider issue and to insist that everyone individually contacts them to be told to reboot the router when it is clear it's not a localised issue.

I don't want to tempt fate, but my connection seems more stable this morning.
Internet radio playing since 7am, and now on Teams calls. No interruptions so far. Yesterday (from 1:30pm onwards), I don't think it went for more than 25 mins without disconnecting.
Anyone else noticing a better service this morning?

It looks like things have improved. According to the logs, the last drop was at 00:20 this morning, I have not changed anything so was nothing to do with the router, my house wiring or the ONT.
It also sheds a bit more light on the issue, it looks like the DHCP leases are set to expire after ~25 minutes. I can see the lease renewing every 25-30 minutes in the logs. A renewal is just confirming the existing assigned address is still valid.
If this lease renewal fails, the connection is terminated. So chances are the renewals were failing but new requests weren't, this probably means the live addresses were not being shared properly between DHCP servers.
Get a new address on server 1, then check again in 25-30 minutes and try to renew on server 2, but server 2 does not believe that address is in use so the connection terminates, they were not expiring, the just weren't valid. Router rests for a couple of minutes before trying again and gets a new address, the cycle restarts.

Is anyone still having these issues? I need to hold video calls for work today but I'm out at the moment so I'm not sure if this is fixed yet or not.

Seems to be much more stable today. Other neighbours on different providers are clear now too

I've been having this trouble too since upgrading to full fibre.Apparently there are no issues in my area (South Cumbria) but it was OK before the upgrade. I can't even connect my tv to the hub
