I'm literally having the same problem too I've trying to get hold of sky but keeps sending me to do test which  sometimes I be wanting for hours on end and nothing happens or sometimes it says everything is good but it's not

Having the same issue in Edinburgh its knocking all the devices off including the tv and then they are coming back on minutes later been happening all day. Very frustating

Mine keeps dropping out as well I'm in Annan Scotland. Switched everything off and put back on but still happening. My speed and conection are all ok and sky are saying there isn't a problem.

CLEARLY THERE IS A PROBLEM 

SKY GET IT SORTED.

The virtual assistant eventually pointed me to this community post

in which they came to the same conclusion about the DHCP issue. The guy also replaced the cable between the router and the ONS and shut everything down multiple times, however how can this hit so many all at once if it is a localised issue.

 

It was mentioned in that post the DHCP issue has happened historically and was escelated to Sky support. It took 2 weeks to do that.

It's ridiculous, I pay a lot of money for a service that doesn't work. Almost every day I have to reset the internet or try and do tests. Most of the time I can't do the tests as the internet is down. Please sort this sky

We've been having the same intermittent dropping throughout the day too here in North Yorkshire. Lovely to see that Sky is recognising the issue and not just adopting the "have you switched it on and off again" stance 🤬 i can't call out of pure frustration at the conversation that will follow

You can get round half of the scripted support rubbish by connecting to your computer or laptop to the router by ethernet, not wifi. Cannot blame Wifi if you are not using it.
