Internet black spot

Is sky looking to extend its coverage we have moved one street away and the internet is shocking. I wouldn't mind paying to have adequate internet. It feels this street has been forgotten in the upgrades over the years

@Michelle41

Sky uses the BT Openreach network for its infrastructure...

-------

Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

The only option to pay is where FTTPoD is (theoretically) available: the bill for that is typically tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds, because it's a single household funding an expansion of the national fibre optic network.

As @mae-3 indicates, it's not Sky (or any other individual ISP) that provides 'coverage': it's Openreach as the installer and maintainer of UK telecommunication infrastructure.
