Is sky looking to extend its coverage we have moved one street away and the internet is shocking. I wouldn't mind paying to have adequate internet. It feels this street has been forgotten in the upgrades over the years

The only option to pay is where FTTPoD is (theoretically) available: the bill for that is typically tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds, because it's a single household funding an expansion of the national fibre optic network.
As @mae-3 indicates, it's not Sky (or any other individual ISP) that provides 'coverage': it's Openreach as the installer and maintainer of UK telecommunication infrastructure.
