Internet and wifi keep dropping out
Over the past 3 years I keep report issues with the Internet and wifi dropping out. We get the messages on TV saying you Q mini cannot connect to the Qbox due to network error. As the same time all our remote devices, Laptops, Ipads phoes etc lose connection to the internet/router. However all the lights on the router show green, if you do the network and device check all shows good no issues.
Sky have replaced the Router and Q boxes 2 to 3 times in the last 3 years. Engineers have visited 5 or 6 time and check restet and remapped devices... All will be fine for a few weeks then the system starts to drop .. initially this may be for a couple of mins and it resests its self, then the outages start getting more frequent and lasting longer, at which point we physicall press the reset on the Router. Normally this resolves things. however yesterday (04/05/25) we lost the system and it is still down today.
Does anyone have any advice as to why this may be and why Sky are unable to fix it... Do i need to start looking at another supplier.
We have the fastest sky broadband but is you can not connect to it what the point . Seriously frustrated 😠 and looking at 3rd parties .
