Internet access on router lost the day before activation date of new router

The activation date for a new router is tomorrow, and our current router no longer has access to the internet, despite having power. Of the three lights we have (power, internet, wireless) on the router, power and wireless are  green, but internet is blank. We suspect Sky may have prematurely disconnected our current router, but are not sure. Any idea what the problem may be and how to fix it?

@NeilOB9  Are you with Sky already for your internet and are changing packages is this what you are saying?
