Internally wired house help

My house is internally wired to open reach the ONT is turned on but there are no wires from the ONT to either the Ethernet or phone line, what do I need to do to ensure I can connect on Tuesday when I’m activated? My new home manual says your ask for the serial number of the ONT but no one has.  Thanks

You'll need an ethernet cable to connect the ONT to the router. The router needs to be plugged in via it's own ethernet cable to the network and the phone plugs into the router itself.

Obviously nobody here knows the exact network setup in your house so you may need to come back with more information later.

Hi,  thanks for your reply,  I know this is the set up in a house usually as in my old house the router was directly plugged into it but my new house is internally hardwired,  there's a ONT in a cupboard with both an ethanet plug and a phone line plug next to it,  I know one of these needs plugging into the ONT to make the ethanet plugs live around the house but there's no wires supplied so I don't know which it is,  I've researched and it suggests it's the ONT to phone line that activates all the Ethernet's around the house but we've been without internet for 2 weeks and when we go live Tuesday I want to make sure I have everything I need for it to work.  There is no phone line socket from the ONT so if it needs plugging into this I'd need an ethanet to phone cable,   The serial number of my ONT is ADTN2428A50B

With Sky the phone has to plug into the Sky router it will not work otherwise. The ONT has to be attached to the Sky router before any other ethernet feed is taken off the router. Is it possible that this "phone line" you mention is actually an ethernet cable? 

This is the bottom of my ONT, You have the green incoming optical signal, a power cable and an ethernet port that connects to the router.

That's not how FTTP works.

The optical cable delivers data to and from the ONT.

The Sky Hub (router) connects to the ONT over ethernet cable.

Voice calls run through the BT Jack socket on the Sky Hub 

Any internal telephone extensions cabled in the house are effectively irrelevant.

After the fact it occurred to me that the phone line they mention could be used purely as an extension, plug it into the router and then the phone into whatever room they want it to be (presuming the phone line reaches that room).

If the phone line has a splitter on it could they plug multiple phones in around the house rather than depend upon a dect setup?
