Intermittent slow wi fi

About once or twice a week I get slow speeds in some parts of my house below 1Mbps then it resolves for no obvious reason and goes back to 80+Mbps

Thanks. Yes just wi fi in rooms 20 feet or more from router. Sky TV box is furthest from router but Sky connected via a long ethernet cable round the outside of house and is unaffected.

@Ben188  Is the router in an open place in the room it is in and not stuck behind anything?
