Intermittent connection to Tv and XBox

We are experiencing increasingly more problems with poor connectivity on our TV (downstairs living room) and XBox (upstairs bedroom).  The wi-fi router is in another downstairs room.

Both the TV and XBox stop working periodically - the picture stops or the signal drops out altogether. It usually comes back on again after about 5 - 10 seconds. The problem is increasing and very annoying.

we've done all the online tests we can and the problem isn't resolved.  The online test says there is a problem with the puck and the reset hasn't made a difference.

we think we might need a new puck.  Also is there a way to boost the WiFi signal to the bedroom?

 Thanks

@GaryBle

A poor signal in certain rooms is something that comes up on here on a regular basis so try going through this to see if it helps:

https://www.sky.com/help/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/articles/...

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
