Intermittent broadband connection

We had fibre broadband installed on Friday 10 July and since then WiFi has been dropping out consistently. Prior to this upgrade we had no issues. No additional devices have been added.
This is not sustainable and needs fixing urgently because we work from home.
We want an engineer out urgently - the install has broken our internet connection.
We have re booted everything and makes no difference.

Is this happening on all devices throughout your home or in certain rooms only ?

When this happens what light are lit (or not) on the broadband hub ?

Hello

no not one particular device that drops out- all rooms across the house - all devices drop out but no change to the lights on the box.

We're only other customers here, like yourself.

Firstly, unplug the hub for 10 minutes and then reboot, hopefully a channel rescan will find a less congested wifi channel.

Have a look at the following to see if they can resolve your problem easily if no success with the above, you can also use the MySky app. If not you may need to consider either the Sky WiFi Max add-on package or perhaps purchasing a 3rd party mesh system (which remains yours regardless of ISP used and would be my own personal choice).

Re: Intermittent broadband connection

We have already tried all of the above.
does anyone know how to call the sky engineer back?
this is awful service - our internet is not usable currently and we need it fixed asap.
they will need to resolve this for us and maybe put it back to how it was before because it worked fine before we had fibre broadband installed!
