Intermittent and slow WiFi in all rooms

Hi, I have had sky broadband for a few weeks now. From day 1 the WiFi was pretty poor and kept dropping out. I put it down to it just needing to sort itself out but it hasn't. No matter what room, how close or far from the hub the devidlce is, where the hub is or what the device is (phone's, PC's, TV's, sky TV) the WiFi is awful. It randomly disconnects quite often and speeds are way down at around 30mbps when it is connected. When devices are wired the connection and speeds are perfectly fine. Leads me to think there's a problem with my hub. Can anyone help? Or suggest a fix?
