Intermittent Dropouts
Hi All,
I recently received a new Sky Hub, and have replaced all cabling with the new filters. However occasionally we are receiving a dropout of connection, this is both via a wire and wifi.
I would suspect it was a router issue as when the internet drops you can also no longer ping the sky hub, and when looking at the statistics on the hub it shows the uptime as normal and no interuption in actual internet connection.
I've power cycled and reset the router a few times but this seems to continue no matter what, I've also disabled 5G access just in case and change the 2.4gz band, but given this also effects wired access i'm not convinced this will make any changes
Thanks!

Re: Intermittent Dropouts
Attempted to post them several times now but they don't seem to be attached to the post.
Only thing that stands out is some excessive collision packets. I'll go through whats on my network and remove those, but the majority of the collissions were on the WAN and not LAN or Wifi.

Re: Intermittent Dropouts
Yup thats the one.
I've just tried changing my IP address range and default gateway in case something else on the network has somehow stolen the IP address.
Disabled all LAN connections and disabled IPv6.
I can still see some of the pings to the router (new IP address!) being dropped which I wouldn't expect when i'm the only one actually on the internet.
Any advice or other actions (I'm thinking of renaming my wifi again just in case!) would be most appriciated as it would stop my son from nagging!

Re: Intermittent Dropouts
@Maximoo08 You may just have to Factory Reset the SR203 hub if you have got it all in a pickle, just hold the reset button in 20+ seconds watch the front lights when you see them change release the reset button, will take about 5 minutes to reboot itself!
