Had an Open Reach contracter round yesterday to instal FTP. He ran cable from pole and did all the connections at house but left saying he couldnt connect at pole and it would need an Open Reach engineer to come and finish. I phone SKyYand was told nothing on the system and openreach would be in contact but Ive heard nothing and no way of contacting openreach about it.
This is the second delay Ive had as was supposed to be installed previous week only for openreach cancelling saying it was a 2 man job and yet theys ent a sole contactere to do the job.
Fed up....

@DavidDoc1962 Sky will not have been informed of the most recent visit until the following day. Appreciate it is annoying but unfortunately these delays ccan affectvsome jobs. It sounds like the engineer could not find a usable connection on the pole. Openreach do not provide Sky with a running commentary where these delays happen but you will be waiting on a team with access rights to the distribution point to become availabler.
The only positice is you should be accumulating compensationfor the delays Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com My own fibre install a few years back was delayed and the compensation covered the first 6 months of the service.
