I am renovating a property and there is no phone cable active in the property. I am not due to move in for 60 days but want to install sky full fibre in advance prior to moving. Is this possible and how do I go about it?

Re: Install broadband
@GCT2002 if you place an order with Sky they will raise an order with Openreach to install a line assuming that is possible. This cannot be arranged in advance and you will start paying for the service from the date the work is completed. It is very difgicult to know exactly how long Openreach will need if its a simple job they have a 10 working days lead time but running new lines can take several weeks. You have left it too late to use the Openreach system for preinstallation as that requires at least 8 weeks notice.
Entering the full address into this checker Openreach Checker and posting the table and first three lines of the notes after removing the reference to the address should enable forum members to give a more accurate estimate.

Re: Install broadband
Thank you, the 8 weeks isn't an issue as my date is fairly flexible.

Re: Install broadband
@GCT2002 you would be supplied with an overhead full fibre supply with no antcipated issues so should be done within 3 weeks from order depending on demand. I would just order from Sky rather than messing around directly with Openreach if you are going to be using the place yourself but you will be committing to a 24 month contract.
