I received the Sky router today, plugged it in but cannot connect to the WiFi. It cannot authenticate due to 'incorrect password'. I have carefully checked the case, 0s & Os, 1s & Is etc. and I'm confident I'm typing it in correctly. I also tried factory resetting the router by holding the reset button down for 30 seconds, but the issue persists.
The internet is working fine, my PC is connected via ethernet. I connected via 192.168.0.1 to see if I could reset the password from the console but of course you need to type in the current password to do so. Same issue, the password is incorrect. For reference, the username i tried was 'admin', which is what was written on the instructions received with the router.
Am I missing something? Is it possible that the password provided on the back of the router is just wrong? I've never experienced this with any other provider before.

@SS86 is this a replacement for a previous white Sky Max hub? If it is Sky will have set the password to match the unit being replaced.
Otherwise it is a very unusual fault as the password on the label is generated during manufacture and resets to that as it is derived from the hardware id. You will have to speak to Sky to get the unit switched.

Re: Incorrect Password on Router
The password should be correct so have you tried entering an O instead of a 0 and vice verse to see what happens ?

Re: Incorrect Password on Router
I've honestly tried every variation where there might be ambiguity. Even tried replacing 'S' with '5'

Re: Incorrect Password on Router
We switched over from another provider, so it's our first Sky router. I'll try contacting them to see if we can have another one sent out. Thanks for the quick responses
