Im on a cheaper version of broadband and have been for a few years, yet today with no warning the price went up and it took more than I was expecting overdrafting my bank. Shouldn't I get notifications when they plan to change my contract or take more?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jay_U you should have been notified before the tariff changed but often these emails do end up in Spam folder. To help I have escalated your post to the Forum Messaging Team who will invite you onto a private chat through the forum where a chat icon will be added. They should be able to see what has happened and tell you your options.

Find out more@Jay_U I have checked with Sky and you can get a second contract on the Social Tariff if you are still on the qualifying benefit (likely to be UC or Income based ESA for someone with a disability) but the messaging team my not be able to sort it for you but hopefully they can point you in the right direction. If they cant please post again.

Posted by a Sky employeeThanks for escalating this, the best place to go would be to call the team who deals with the social tariff.
@Jay_U This offer is not something that normal agents have access to, nor do our managers, only the specific team has them. You can find their contact number below.
