That appears to be the output of a WiFi analyser tool indicating multiple SSIDs are sitting on the same channel.

I'd observe that if you are concerned about ping time (presumably for gaming) then using WiFi for the device in question is distinctly sub-optimal.

Additional latency comes from ISP network routing which is outside the control of the subscriber.

Who told you your ping was bad? To what destination is your ping bad?

Can you provide us with a ping test output?

Re: Bad Ping

multiple SSIDs are sitting on the same channel.  Thanks.  I'm very old so this is all mumbo jumbo to me.  Is there anything I can do about it bearing in mind that I have no idea what it means.  I have been advised to but some Power Line Adapters.

Thanks again for your response.

Re: Bad Ping

Thank you.  A friend suggested I download a wifi analyser and when he looked at the results, he said something about I was picking up too many wifi signals thereby slowing everything down.  Unfortunately he was only passing through and lives a long way away.  As I've said in reply to another poster, I'm very old and it's all mumbo jumbo to me.

Thanks for your post.  Much appreciated.

Using just the Sky Hub Wi-Fi equipment doesn't allow you to change the 5Ghz Wi-Fi channel if you invested in an alternative access point the channels above 100 look pretty clear and would prove to offer better performance and lower latency if you have to use Wi-Fi.

Multiple SSIDs isnt an issue in itself, especially if you are just picking up all the SSIDs from your Sky mesh system.

As I asked before, what device and application are you seeing poor latency on?
