ITV X issues with messages saying poor internet speed/connection when it is not the case

We have Sky Q with a booster in the lounge.  When we watch ITV X on catch up we regularly get the programme we are watching interrupted/paused by a screen message saying the internet connection is lost when clearly it hasn't been.  This only seems to happen on ITV X.  It seems to be a common problem judging by what is said on meaasage boards but does anyone have a solution to the problem or do we just give up on ITV X ?  Our internet connection speed is in excess of 60 Mbps
