Re: IPv4 not available on router
I have a constant struggle with the network. The biggest problem is trying to connect to a corporate VPN, and we frequently get an IPv4 problem reported as the reason. Sky did some adjustments a few weeks ago and that seemed to make it better but it's as bad as ever now. It looks to my untutored eye as if IPv4 should be ok:
I eventually got hold of a Sky person the other day, and they sent a range extended which to no-one's surprise has made no difference at all.
I have to reboot the Sky Max Hub several times a day to maintain connectivity - not just for my wife's work laptop but also for my desktop, which uses an ethernet connection. Frequently my browser simply tells me that it is having a problem connecting to such-and-such a website, but everything shows that the computer's connected OK. And wifi will often say it's connected but cannot provide internet, but I guess that's a different matter. For the moment (and because it's the topic of this thread) let's focus on IPv4! Any suggestions please?
