I want to take £111 charge off

Been a sky customer for 8 years. Every year my sky bill has steady increase up to £46. Being a student I could not afford that bill considering its just for my broadband and line. I complain to sky and even suggest to leave of which the offered me a new contract. I accepted it with a lowrr bill only for sky to keep charging me £46. I complain again an was told it is under investigation still was charge another £46 pounds. I ended up cancelling my sky entirely and signing up for a new contract with hopes the old bill will be resolved as i wax told it was high because i have been out of contract. Just woke up today with my broadband being suspended and being asked to pay and overchaged bill of which i made complains 3 months prior stateting I can not afford. I feel its a scam as it should have been delt with rather than offer me a new plan of which i accepted but they went ahead charging me ad before for anothet 3 months.

@Moses11 You need to call sky Customer Service to sort it all out, nothing that the Forum can help you with really on that issue! The cancel and restart it all was it on the advice off a sky Customer Service Agent to do that, sounds very strange as an option!

You may find now that to get out off the pickle you are in, until you give sky the complete money they are asking for then know one will even talk to you any further and you will remain restricted, even though you consider it not your fault and nothing to do with you, rules are set in place and that is one such off those!

Bills increase in April with the inevitable annual price increase. Otherwise it's likely your discount has ended meaning until you negotiated a new discount you're paying the full price.

I agree with @JimM1 . Who advised you to cancel and rejoin? Seems bad advice if it was an agent. Not sure how you'd benefit from that because you wouldn't have been classed as a new customer.

Now your services are restricted that will only be because of a missed payment. Sky won’t reinstate them until you’ve paid what you owe (regardless of any particular circumstances) and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method.

Until you’ve done this all calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay.

If your payment gets to be two weeks or more overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).

Restrictions of services are automatic and Skys agents can’t override the process, even if you’re told otherwise. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link
