I can get Full Fibre according to Openreach and Sky, but I live:
- around 200-300m from a road, down a farm track not owned by the Council,
- in a Conservation Area.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to dig up the road, and maybe hard to get the fibre via poles.
What could happen here? Do I need to place order first to get an engineer out? And if they say no not possible then the order gets cancelled?

Are you currently fed underground or via poles for your current service?

Re: I want full fibre but doubt it can be installed
The current Openreach project is to get gigabit infrastructure within reach of 85% of UK addresses by the end of December 2026.
What happens with the remaining 15% (deemed to be economically unviable because installation cost exceeds all future likely revenue) is unclear.

I suspect the cables are underground. I can't see any poles.

Overhead with line of sight issues . You can get fttp but openreach may need a cherrypicker to lop the branches
