Re: I think I need a WiFi extender
Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

Re: I think I need a WiFi extender
Hi
First of all, try testing the wifi speed at different locations around your house using a smart phone app, just to make sure that your broadband is coming through at the speed youve paid for. When youre stood next to the router, you should be picking up the full speed. I have Speedtest app by Ookla, but there are lots of them about.
If you are getting the correct bradband speed near the router, but not in other areas of the house, you can try somethng like the TP-Link powerline adapters to put the wifi into the electrical wiring system, and make it avaialble around the house. You just need next to the router and then one at the locations in your house when the wifi doesnt normally reach.
Here's a detailed explanation of how this works from the manufaturer - https://www.tp-link.com/uk/powerline/
