I have had Giga Fast internet for just over a month, but we are not getting the speeds

I am only getting 260mbps  on LAN CAT6  terrible. 

Also been informed that my router will not give the speeds dispite SKY sending another router out?  Why send it out if they know it will not improve the situation? 

Also been informed that their new high speed router does not work with the Q box?   Where do I go from here?

@TommyJB therechave been reports of Sky Q boxes limiting speeds in some cases so try powering down the TV boxes to see if speeds improve. Sky Q is getting quite old and its networking infrastructure is complex as it was designed well before gigabit connections were thought of.
