Hub
Has anyone received an email saying their hub will not connect after 31st December 2025, or is this false information?

Re: Hub
The email being sent out is because these hubs can not be updated so Sky does want to replace them which they will do free of charge and without the need to start a new contract.
If you have been sent an email that says they will not work beyond the 31st December then I would be caustious as it might not be from Sky as the one I was sent from Sky said this:
At Sky we’re always looking to bring the latest innovative technology to our customers. As we do this, we’re always making improvements to our infrastructure to enhance both its reliability and performance.
In 2022, the UK government published a new security framework to make the UK’s telecommunications infrastructure more resilient.
In line with government guidance, we wanted to let you know while your hub continues to keep you connected to the internet, it no longer receives service and security updates. To review your options, including how to update or change your hub, visit our portal here You’ll need to have your Sky ID and password ready to log in.
If this is what your email says then it is from Sky so you are safe to click the link in it.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Hub
The 2016 Q Hub (and all previous Sky routers) don't meet the requirements of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act because they have weak local administrator credentials, so need to be swapped out.
As @caesarome identifies, it's always possible that scammers latch on to a legitimate campaign for their own purposes and so it's important to look at the linked website URL carefully before logging in.
