I've received a new hub but would like to move it to the other side of the room but the lead into the phone socket / hub isn't long enough. Does anyone know whether you can buy an extension lead or if a ADSL cable work?

@SueR17 If you are plugged into the phone socket and also too the purple connection DSL cable, then yes you can get a longer cable, try to get a high quality one off the length you need, and you may get a slight speed hit with the longer length off cable! Not knowing what your master socket is, but if you are using cable with same ends on it then RJ11 - RJ11 and length you require.
