Just recieved my new hub and it is too high to fit between kitchen cabinet and ceiling, Hub 17cm and gap 7cm. Would it be ok to place in a kitchen caninet?

Short answer is no, you'll likely reduce WiFi range & throughput drastically as well as possibly overheat the hub is there isnt enough fresh air flow to passively cool it
