How to remove a vpn

Teenage son has managed to get around the Broadshield that I switched on in an effort to curb his game playing whilst studying for A levels.  He has uploaded a VPN to give him access to all games.  This has slowed down our service.  How do I get rid of it?

VPNs can be accessed via a router configuration, a browser extension or via an app, each one has a different removal method

Why can you not ask your son to remove it?

Hi Annie

does this mean he is the only one capable of removing the VPN

Without knowing what method of VPN then it makes it very difficult to advise

Check your routers settings to see if a VPN is set there, as this is the only way I can think that it would slow everything down, a VPN app will usually only affect the device it is installed on

@Sukeyp

Note that there isn't any model of Sky Hub which can itself host a VPN endpoint.
