How to install McAfee software?

Morning,

Just setting up my account Etc, can anyone provide any info on how to install McAfee software?  Have tried the Virtual Assisstant (removed).

It is no longer possible to install McAfee so you will need to use an alternative.

Can I just ask what made you think McAfee was included with Sky Broadband?

If there's a particular reference left somewhere on the Sky website this needs to be tracked down.

So far as I'm aware, Sky stopped new subscription to McAfee years ago.

a. You'll need to find your own alternative

b. Only Sky could tell you that.

None.  Desktop antivirus is an entirely obsolete concept, kept going only by the AV companies themselves based on mythical risks.  Self-propagating viruses just don't exist anymore, and malware is typically installed voluntarily by users who choose to ignore all advice to the contrary.

The website and app do not say McAfee is available to new users: references are purely historical for a diminishing number of legacy subscriptions.  As always, the wording could undoubtedly be improved, and this has been drawn to the attention of Sky numerous times.
