@Pete43  As @TimmyBGood  the conversion kit is a Ethernet cable, it can't be used on a phone line master socket, are you waiting for a FTTP install to take place?  If so you will get an ONT which is the way you connect your hub to the ONT using said cable.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The 'conversion kit' ethernet cable goes between the ethernet port on an ONT and the WAN ethernet port (#4) on a Sky Broadband Hub or Max Hub.

 

It actually works with a Q Hub too, but those don't support Sky Talk Internet Calls.
