I've heard I can get a free booster to help improve the WiFi signal in my house. We've found that the signal seems to be bad in in a few rooms despite being close to the router. How do I go about getting a free booster as I feel like we are not benefitting from paying for the better broadband when we still can't get signal in some places around the house.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Hardware boosters are claimable 'free' under the terms of the WiFi Guarantee by subscribers to the Broadband Boost subscription supplement (or users of the new WiFi Max service)

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

There's no separate booster hardware (the 'pod') sent with the Max Hub. With a WiFi Max subscription, one can be claimed afterwards by phoning Sky.
