@Burnside38 What colour is the router you have from Sky is it black or white?

Re: How do i access the encryption mode on my router to make sure it is NOT WAP3-ONLY?
@Burnside38 the standard black Sky hubs do not support WPA3 their highest wifi security level is WPA2-PSK which is also the default. Therefore unless you are using a wifi extender which has a higher security level then the warning is false.
You can see the security level in the hub's web interface on the Wifi pages it is strongly advised to leave the level at the default.

@Chrisee thank you. I've been struggling to find an answer to that question for a week. Well I wonder what on earth is wrong with them, at least now I have an answer to at least that question. Thank you for your help, much appreciated 🙂

@Deborah23 only the new white Sky WiFi Max hub supports WPA3 if you have one of those you can change the security setting from the default WPA3-T to WPA2 in the My Sky app by going to the section for the hub and chosing the advanced section.
Given the older black hubs cannot support WPA3 it is a false warning from the app so you need to talk to their support the defaul WiFi security level is WPA2-PSK and it is advised not to weaken that.

Re: How do i access the encryption mode on my router to make sure it is NOT WAP3-ONLY?
I have the White router and having problems connecting my printer and 3d printer both wap2, these will not connect at all, there are other devices connected a Wap2, am I right in thinking that if I change the security within the new router I would have reconnect all my WiFi devices?

That shouldn't be necessary as long as the WiFi key (password) remains the same.

Re: How do i access the encryption mode on my router to make sure it is NOT WAP3-ONLY?
Thanks for the replies, I will have to decide which way to go, it took me 4+ hours to reconnect all my WiFi devices:)
I had a couple of issues reconnecting cameras etc, found they had to be done in a certain order to complete.
At the moment half thinking about replacing my 3d printer, it would be lot less hassle..
