Discussion topic: How do I know where to place the sky q booster box?

Sky have sent out a booster box because I have a connection issue & my Internet keeps crashing. The instructions say to place it halfway between sky box and the problem area. I Don't know where the problem area is, so don't know where to set it up.

'Problem area' in this context would be a location within in the property which WiFi doesn't reach adequately. Boosters aren't intended to resolve issues with the router or external connection.

A booster will not solve a crashing connection issue. As @TimmyBGood has mentioned its designed to solve WiFi blackspots so its unlikely the booster will do much.
