Hello I have received my new broadband hub in post today and I'm just looking to know do I connect it to my old connection box that fibrus set up?

Fibrus is a seperate network primarily working on rural fibre in northern ireland
What connection are you getting from sky

Almost certainly not: Sky uses the Openreach network (in the UK) rather than optical cable from any altnet.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

Sky doesn't use fibrus . If you are getting sky fttp then sky will contact openreach to install an openreach fibre modem ont

Presumably a whole new optical drop cable too, from the nearest Openreach CBT, plus a new CSP and optical pigtail to the ONT. As far as I'm aware none of the Fibrus infrastructure could be used by Sky or any other Openreach ISP.
