@Maitu simplest way is to fit a time switch to the power supply to your Sky hub.

If you mean you want to restrict access (for children perhaps) you can set the schedule within the router settings.

Go to http://192.168.0.1/ It's under 'Security', 'Schedule'.

The user name is:-

admin

The password may be:-

sky

If not try the WiFi password.

@Anonymous experience tells me that although in theory that works in practice it is less than practical.

@Maitu

Another approach (for wireless devices) is to change the password on the Hub WiFi and then connect a separate wireless access point to it over ethernet.  This second device can then be switched off and on as desired without killing all access (and also not risking line speed being reduced)

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@tsg232323 the scheduler in theory can control when a firewall rule is applied so you would need first to create a rule blocking access to all external sites then schedule it. When you click apply the hub reboots which drops connection. It is a very clumsy approsch when simply using a time switch can do the same.

The new Wifi Max system contains a nuch better parental control facility that allows deviceclevel control with multiple schedules.

Hi , thanks . Yeah using a timer is easier but kids can see power is off whereas if lights are on hub they'll think internet is down .  Crafty monkeys .
