Home WiFi is very slow. Phone uses all data as home WiFi don’t work. Since new cables outside

My mobile phone uses data when I am out but the home WiFi when I am home. Since new cables have been placed in our street our home WiFi is very slow and phones or tables hardly connect. So slow. EE have been saying I use all my data 20GB and have to keep added data. Why has it changed.

@Emvoo first thing is to run the connection test in the MyvSky app which will tell you if there is an issue withithe speed to your hub and can book an engineer if it finds any faults..
