Recently book a home move for broadband - was initially the 25th nov but I called on 23rd November to change the date to the 29th as my builder has delayed my move. I spoke to a agent at sky who confirmed this had been done.
Woke up on the 25th to no internet( I work from home!) immediately called sky who explained that the original order had gone through and there is nothing they can do. I upgraded to a new contract during this time.
My question is can I cancel my broadband order and have it moved back to my old address? and if so how long would it take?
My move has been delayed for at least 2 weeks so I have no home internet until this time!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@t+campbell the work of connecting and disconnecting services is done by Openreach not Sky. They have a standard 14 day lead time for all new orders so it is not going to be possible for a short period. The agent you spoke to should have warned you that this moght happen Opdnrreach being as user unfriendly as they are.

Ok so probably best to just leave it as is rather than switching back to my old property? I have to find an alternative way of getting internet - maybe a data sim.
