Sky broad band not working after moving to a new location

Without doing the home move your broadband doesn't follow you when you move as it needs to be disconnected at your old address and connected at your new address.

As @GD1 indicates, a broadband service does not follow an ISP router around the national telecommunication network: it's specifically provisioned by Openreach at a particular address and that has a minimum ten working day lead time.
