The first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

I have already done the tests and nothing is doing!! So I need to report it to Sky then. Is there a number I can call?

Re: Have a LOS red light

This might be useful to people…  As far as an Openreach ONT goes:

POWER LIGHT:  Steady green is normal; flashing is f/ware update.

PON LIGHT:  Steady green...normal; flashing green....most likely connected but not authenticating, (an account problem, serial number mismatch etc.)  (NB This could also be a whole range of other problems but authentication errors are most common); red light....no logical connection, i.e. fibre is lit but no sync.

LAN or PORT LIGHT:  Green means a connection to the router; flashing is it passing data.

ALARM or LOS LIGHT:  Unlit...normal; red light...loss of physical connection, i.e. unlit/broken fibre, equipment failure.  Power cut at the other end etc.

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.

Re: Have a LOS red light

Thanks. I have managed to speak to Sky and reported the fault. So they checked and it is a fault  in the area outside the house. So they have logged it and an Openreach engineer will arrange in the next 2 to 3 days.
