Has anyone successfully connected a Roomba that needs 2.4ghz to the white Sky hub?

I've just got a Roomba and I'm going round in circles trying to connect it. It needs 2.4ghz frequency and the white hub is supposed to be both 5ghz and 2.4ghz, but it won't connect. I can't force the hub to run either frequency over the other and it seems to default to 5ghz. Other devices I have that are 2.4 just worked after a couple of tries, but this robot vacuum is cycling back and not connecting every time. I tried dropping the WiFi security down from 3 to 2 as someone suggested on another post, but no joy. Really wish Sky would let you split the frequencies with this newer hub! Hoping someone here has worked around it and could please help? Thanks

@Emswip  You may have to go into the Wi-Fi settings and temp disable the 5.0GHz band to see if you are then able to connect your device. It might also need you to drop down from WPA3 to WPA2

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any option in the WiFi settings to change from 5ghz. The white hub is supposed to use both frequencies (several things on the network already run at 2.4), but I can't seem to edit the default 5ghz settings to get this new device connected. I did already try dropping the security down to WPA2 but still no luck. Was hoping someone might have a workaround, so keeping my fingers crossed. 😉

@Emswip If you are NOT reading the reply it is switch OFF the 5ghz with the app, try to connect the device. If/when that works and it is connected, go back into the app and switch the 5ghz back ON.

@Emswip  Are you looking for those settings on the router or in the Sky app?

Re: Has anyone successfully connected a Roomba that needs 2.4ghz to the white Sky hub?

Thanks. I'm looking in the app, under product settings for the Sky Max Hub. There's no option I can see to turn off 5ghz? I've gone in the advanced settings menu, I get 'port forwarding', 'dmz', 'disable WiFi' and 'wifi security level'. I've tried dropping the security level, that didn't help, and the disable WiFi section starts throwing up warnings about proceeding with disconnecting the WiFi. Is that where I can find an option, if I ignore the warnings? Seems like it's going to turn off everything like a Doomsday button!

Thanks again. I went through the link and managed to switch off the 5ghz - great! - but unfortunately it didn't help with the vacuum connection setup. Still not working and I'm not sure it's meant to be with this thing, but I appreciate you helping me find the gateways for the two frequencies. 👍🏻
