I just had a call from an 020 number they asked name and address didn't ask sky password. They said they can get my broadband and phone bill from £45 to £23 and free in November and December it's changing from sky to 'shell' and they will tell sky about the change. It's also just a £4.99 charge for postage to get me a new router. I ended up hanging the phone up and they are constantly calling. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Perilously close to 'slamming', I'd say.

Not even close to "slamming" from what's been said in the thread.
We'd have to hear the actual conversation to be sure but it just sounds like a sales call to a known Sky number to get them to switch ISP/phone provider.
Given the phone number "pool" Sky has assigned is easily accessible then if the number is not in the TPS database (yes you can all fall around laughing) then its very likely to get called on a regular basis by competing ISPs/telecos.
