Guaranteed wifi speeds

It seems to be most days that the wifi drops below 10 which is no where near what we are meant to be getting and if this carries on we will be looking to leave your selves and getting wifi somewhere else

Perhaps note that the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed is for broadband, not WiFi, and actually 'guarantees' a small refund rather than speed.

Re: Guaranteed wifi speeds

OK we have been guaranteed minimum 150 and we barley ever get that and it never seems be be quick any evening and it's getting annoying the wifi is slower with this new box than it was with the old one

Numerous posts suggest the white Max Hub underperforms in some households.

That would be for a connection to the Hub over ethernet cable, not WiFi.

Re: Guaranteed wifi speeds

As previously mentioned @TimmyBGood  I would suggest testing the speed you are getting at the Sky hub using an ethernet cable.

The speeds you get at the hub should be close to what you are paying for.

WiFi speed and range are another matter.

I am typing this message on my phone using 5GHz WiFi and speed is 185/95.

Download speed is well below what I am paying for, but this is not a cause for complaint.

My current ISP does not supply any broadband hardware and their responsibility ends at the ONT...  no WiFi guarantee of range or speeds etc.
