Hey guys,
just a quick one, I recently switched to sky (my broadband was activated on the 4th of December) but I have since upgraded to wifi max thinking I will be sent some boosters for my house since for some reason my wifi dips completely in places like my kitchen for example (had same issue with previous company and I had to have a booster which made it better), even my phone disconnects when im in the kitchen and im not far away at all from the router which is located in the lounge (just a few feet away) but I think the walls are too thick or something and signal doesn't go through. Anyway my idea of upgrading was that I will be getting some wifi boosters or something and a newer router? However when checking in my account it says I haven't got any orders active, although it says that wifi max is active on my contract. Do I need to contact Sky and tell them this aspect? (about the fac that I need the boosters)
Many thanks in advance 🙂

The white Sky Hub is the most recent (2023) Max Hub.
Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of the legacy 'Broadband Boost' add-on and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell boosters except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Phoning Sky to go through a telephone diagnosis is required to have a booster or pod allocated to the account. Inevitably some Sky booster hardware has leaked onto a certain auction site and elsewhere online, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the default 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' bundled with all new Sky Broadband orders where Boost or Max is not added by the customer doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above plus a one month broadband subscription refund.
