Given password for setup is incorrrect

I'm setting up my sky broadband as today is the activation date, all going fine until i try and connect and the password is incorrect on my devices, despite correctly copying what is on the box. What do I do?

@Red15 it is quite easy to misread the password details for example  misreading the figure1 for the letter I.

Assuming you are not misreading and the hub is fresh out of the box the password on the label is correct or at least in 8 years I have  been active on this forum I have not seen a credible report that it was wrong.. If there us a chance somebody has changed the settings you can reset the colder black hubs to their factory settings by pressing in the reset pin for up to 20 seconds until the power.led flashes. If you have the white Sky Max hub you reset thst model by pressing and holding in the WPS button for 30 seconds.

Some devices can get their network settings corrupted where this happens telling the device to forget the new connection followed by a full reboot usually works.

Re: Given password for setup is incorrrect

@Chrisee I've sent screenshots of the password I input and the card to some friends and they all agree I have put it in correctly. I reset the hub and have the same issue unfortunately.

Is there a way to use the pin to connect?

@Red15 you can use wps assuming your device supports it. Simply start WPS on the device then press the WPS button on the hub until the led starts flashing.

If really stuck you will have to call Sky and they will have to send you a new hub but as I said I have never known that before.
