That just guarantees Sky suspends service entirely with debt continuing to accrue. While undoubtedly tempting, it's entirely counterproductive for the user and impacts a multibillion pound company not a jot.
It's continuing to pay for the product that you say isn't being delivered which gives you some leverage under consumer law.

Although you have a point you also forget I sign in to a contract with the company which is breaking it's own terms and conditions.
Paying for a service that I'm not receiving making me have the leverage if they want they can take me to court and see how that goes.
