Re: Gigafast plus

@Vickib7 So your device capture on the mobile is showing that you are using the WiFi6e band in the upper higher Frequency range which you have to be close to the hub to get good speed with, next test though you need to hit that middle button to get All the information, displayed on the device! It is the show more info and the whole test will take about 2 minutes to complete so you do need to be a little patient!

Re: Gigafast plus

I do apologise, very busy few days. My daughter still can not get on her xbox.

I checked the other numbers like you explained and it stated as follows

Latency unloaded 5ms loaded 29ms upload 940Mbps, settings pointer down 3020MB and pointer up 3050MB.

On the xbox it is stating all services are available but she can not get on any online games in manage wireless networks it has UPnp not successful we can sign in, load game, kicks her off.

The wireless booster every time we have this in, just stays red, so we have needed to unplug this, think I will need to contact sky, as we have been trying for over 10 days.

We were on superfast previously no issues, just obviously I could not watch catch up if anyone was downloading, I thought getting faster speeds would cause no issues, i am wrong and it is getting frustrating not being able to use all devices.

Re: Gigafast plus

I do apologise I am new to messaging on here and unsure if I replied to yourself or on the main page.

Yeah I got the full fibre installed with the city fibre box and box inside my house with the white circle hub and white hexagon shaped booster plug. My superfast we could all connect, just if anyone was downloading i could not use catch up and with the amount of devices it was quite slow, but least it still worked, I can not figure out this one, to why certain things get kicked off.

@Vickib7 call Sky and report the issue and they should arrange for an engineer to visit to check your network and agree to a further two pod extenders. However in the meantime you may want to experiment with moving the pod you already have these need a good connection back to the hub using a closed 5GHz connection if you live in an older property it can be sufficent of this signal is not reaching the pod due to solid walls. Positioning the pod in a hall lr landing often helps as doorways are help.

Re: Gigafast plus

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the booster plug in our hallway it just will not connect now even in the same room, I have manually put it in too using the serial number and nothing. I managed to get my daughter connected briefly and my apps on my tv would not work stating not connected and that is in the same room as the actual hub. I definitely will be ringing sky, thank you again.
